S2150 is dead

When I power on my S2150 I hear the relay click and then it displays "Tact Audio M/S-2150X", with input selected at D1 and volume set to 00.1.

This is an S2150 that was sent in 1.5 years ago for the XDM mod.

The computer does not recognize the S2150 through the serial port. I have tried putting the S2150 in programming mode, and the computer still does not recognize it. It is possible I am doing something wrong here, but this is the same computer I used to program it a year ago without trouble.

I opened it up and checked all five fuses -- three on the digital board and two in the tubes in the power supply. All test fine with a meter.

Any clues? I have searched around, and the only hints I've found are to check the fuses and reinstall the firmware. But it looks like I have some other problem.

Update: I was able to reprogram the firmware, but it didn't fix the problem.
