Tact is pleased to announce the release of a significant upgrade for the world renowned M/S 2150 digital amplifier. The M/S 2150 X upgrade will bring the M/S 2150 to a level not achieved by any other power amplifier on the market. The upgrade replaces the existing DSP mother board with a new floating point based DSP engine. Features like Dynamic Room Correction™, computer-less crossover design package, and 12-band parametric EQ combined with award-winning audio performance make this amplifier the ultimate choice for music lovers all over the world.

The most outstanding new feature of the M/S 2150 X is new Dynamic Room Correction (DRC) technology. Tact DRC systems are the only ones in the world to address the issue that sound perception is both frequency and level dependent. By taking into account your natural hearing characteristics and by adjusting for them dynamically with every 0.1 dB change in level, DRC technology literally connects your brain to your music, giving you the closest possible approximation of live music in your home.

The M/S 2150 X amplifiers are thus not only amplifiers, but are also highly sophisticated measurement and correction systems. The upgraded internal processing engine has also allowed us for the first time to incorproate room correction and pure digital amplification into one unit, for a seamless 2-channel solution.
