XTC Menu

Use this screen to set Tact-2.2 XP cross talk cancellation algorithm.

  1. Use this option to turn cross-talk feature ON and OFF. When OFF is selected 2.2 XP operates in the normal mode. When ON is selected 2.2 XP will engage a cross-talk algorithm as selected in 2. To switch the cross-talk algorithm ON and OFF click on ENTER button.
  2. Use this option to select cross-talk algorithm. Tact-2.2 XP comes with two sets of algorithms labeled as A-1, A-2, A-3, A-4, A-5 and B-1, B-2, B-3, B-4, B-5. To scroll through all available options use UP/DOWN remote control buttons. To select an algorithm place the cursor over this option and then click on ENTER button. Selected algorithm will be displayed with a '*' next to it.
  3. The delay time parameter is used by the algorithm to compensate for the time difference it takes the sound to travel from the left loudspeaker to the right ear and to the left ear. The algorithm assumes that this time difference is the same for both left and right channels. Typical value for this parameter is 0.10 msec.
  4. Spread factor can be set anywhere between 0 and 100. It is used to calculate the left and right channel separation width. Typical value for this parameter is around 70-75.
