Why do we call it Dynamic Room Correction (DRC)? How does it work?
The Fletcher-Munson equal loudness curves.
Why do we need DRC?

Dynamic Room Correction in the M2150 X
Dynamic Room Correction (DRC) ® is an exciting new technology developed by TacT, Inc. This groundbreaking advance in sound processing advances the science and art of sound reproduction, and specifically TacT room correction products, to an even higher level.

This new Tact proprietary technology allows for target curve adjustments and instant correction filter programming, thereby facilitating immediate listening to room correction changes. All room correction filter calculations, all processing of measurement data, and all target curve management is implemented in the M/S-2150 X internal processing unit. A computer connection is used only to provide the user with a graphics interface and plays no other role during the measurement and correction processes whatsoever.

Each channel can be programmed with a full range or subwoofer room correction algorithm. In a multi channel system any combination of full range and subwoofer channels can be supported.
